Different treatments are available depending on the type of stone and its characteristics. PRONET’s team performs a personalized assessment to determine the best approach.

FOR MARBLE  


For marble  for example :

RESTORATION OR RENOVATION
  • Wet grinding with metallic diamond discs to restore flatness.
  • Wet sanding with various diamond grits.
  • Edge sanding using handheld tools.
  • Flexible resin-bond diamond sanding for finishing.
  • Filling holes and cracks (if needed) with colour-matched material.
FINISH OPTIONS
  • Matt, satin, or glossy.
  • Polished or semi-polished finish using polishing powder to achieved the desired look.
  • For matt finishes, a hydro-oleophobic (water- and oil-repellent) treatment must be applied to prevent absorption and staining.

  • Creation of non-slip strips via bush hammering or anti-slip resin application.

  • Application of protective professional-grade hydro-oleophobic anti-acid treatment for polished marble, to ensure its resistance to food acids (lemon, wine, juice, soda) and household products (soap, perfume, etc.) and to preserve its original colour.
